These Apprenticeships are suitable for site Carpenters who are working on a construction site or in domestic and commercial premises, to given specifications, carrying out site carpentry to first and second fixing (door frames, hanging doors, boxing pipes, window frames and floor joists), bench joiners working in a joiners shop producing wood products, to given specifications, for use by the site carpenter, such as doors, window frames and stair cases.

This course is suitable for people employed in the Carpentry/Joinery industry. The course includes practical skills, theory, assignments and project work. Your work-based experience will play a major part in the successful completion of the Apprenticeship.

Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship


For individuals wanting a career in Construction. There are two pathway options, a Site Carpenter, normally be based on a building site or in a domestic/commercial premises carrying out fixing and building, installation of fittings, repair and maintenance, or a Bench Joiner employed in a workshop producing timber based building components.
