Engineering Apprenticeship Courses

Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship

For individuals wanting to begin a career within the Engineering industry. There are four pathways available. These are: Mechanical Manufacturing using practical skills for Mills, Lathes and Engineering drawing, Maintenance Engineering including mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, interpreting documents and drawings Electronic/Electrical covering electrical maintenance and PLC (Programmable logic controllers) Technical Support Technician covering various aspects of the Engineering and Manufacturing functions including communication software, off line programming, quality control and inspection. Apprentices will achieve the following qualifications as part of their programme: 

  1. A Level 2 Foundation Competence Qualification 

  1. A Level 3 Development Technical Competence Qualification 

  1. A Level 3 Development Technical Knowledge Qualification

Level 3 Civil Engineering Apprenticeship

For individuals wanting to train and qualify as a Civil Engineering Technician. Providing technical support to engineers and other construction professionals in the design, development, construction, commissioning, decommissioning, operation or maintenance of the built environment and infrastructure. Learning key skills, knowledge and behaviours around Design, Analysis, project delivery and site engineering.
