The Apprenticeship in Hospitality Services (Multi-skilled) Level 2 is suitable for people employed in the Hospitality industry and deal with small site accommodation services where a set of skills allow them to perform a large range of functions. Job roles include customer service, food safety, team working, food preparation and cooking, food and beverage services, front of house reception and housekeeping.

Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship


For individuals looking to train as a Chef. Working in a professional kitchen, apprentices will learn how to carry out basic functions in all areas. Apprentices will cover areas such as culinary skills, producing dishes and menu items, meat preparation, reviewing and refreshing menus, basic costing including profit and loss, food safety, liaison with people and relevant business skills.

For individuals wanting to enhance their culinary skills and build upon their current professional cookery experience. Having the ability to work independently and lead a team in a busy and challenging kitchen environment. Producing food in high volumes and will learn highly methodical organisation skills.
