Why choose an Apprenticeship?

There are many benefits to the apprenticeship programme...

  1. Salary -  An apprenticeship is an opportunity to earn a wage whilst studying. Research shows that apprentices earn, on average, over £100,000 more throughout their lifetime than other employees.
  2. Career - Apprenticeships provide an opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications, work for some great businesses and highlight skills and talents to help kick start your career.
  3. Prospects - You are trained in the practical skills and knowledge that employers want. This provides enhanced career and progression opportunities.
  4. Experience - You will gain valuable work experience and other companies will recognise that you will have experienced the real world of work.
  5. Education - The Government has increased the age to which all young people in England must continue in education or training up to 18 years of age. So you can take up an apprenticeship as one of your options after completing year 11 in school.
  6. Employers - think that qualified apprentices are 15% more employable than those with other qualifications, according to the National Apprenticeship Service.

I would definitely recommend the college to other people because there is more freedom, you still have to do assignments by a deadline but you can work towards them at your own pace. The on-site gym is well equipped and facilities are good.
