City & Guilds Advanced Technical Extended Diploma in Health and Care


If you have a strong desire to serve your community, you might like to consider a rewarding career in the health and social care sector. Once qualified, you may consider employment in a nursing home, or a health centre or a speical needs school. You'll study a range of subjects including: Personal and professional development, effective communications, safeguarding, understanding individual care needs, and research in health and care. You will also be required to attend a work placement on a weekly basis through the year to achieve the required hours.

City & Guilds Technical Certificate in Healthcare, Care and Childcare


Why not enrol on this course and develop the essential childcare skills that employers and colleges are looking for? The course teaches you about communicating in healthcare, care and childcare settings, how to safeguard and work safe, and how to work with babies, children and families in care and education. The course also helps you develop personal, social and emotional skills, grit and determination and working in teams. You will need to attend college three/four days a week and accumulate at least 150 placement hours, one day a week, which includes work in the community.
