In this section you will find travel information including cycling, buses, trains and car parking at college.

Cycling to college

Students are encouraged to cycle to college where possible and the college provides plenty of bike rack spaces to secure bikes to while on campus.

Swindon's Bus Company runs the local bus service between the town centre and North Star, where our main campus is based.

Bus service numbers 15 and 16 run between the Bus Station (Bay 4) and Swindon College. Go to or ring 01793 428428 for further information, including the Young Person's Travelpass smartcard.

Car parking

The college has good sized pay and display car parks for the use of students and staff. Prices are £1.00 for up to four hours and £2.00 for all day parking. Students can apply for an annual permit to use the car parks daily, which is a lot cheaper at £55. Please contact Student Services for an application form.
