New College Swindon and Swindon College have merged

Governing Bodies of both Swindon College and New College Swindon are delighted to announce that the two colleges have now merged, with effect from Monday August 17th 2020.  You can read the full press release here.

Our region deserves the highest quality teaching, learning and skills training for everyone.  This merger brings together Swindon’s two Further and Higher Education colleges, with complementary specialisms and strengths, to create a single institution offering comprehensive education and training at all levels.

New applicants – continue to apply as usual
Continuing / Enrolled students – your courses will continue as planned – you don’t need to do anything else.
A Level and Level 3 results: we are currently prioritising student grade appeals and ensuring students can progress to Uni or their next career step.

As the result of merger all previous staff and student data has been transferred from Swindon College to New College, Swindon and will continue to be retained for the original purpose and in line with the New College data protection and retention policy.
