1. What type of Hair & Beauty courses do you offer?
We offers a number of Hair and Beauty Certificates and Diplomas, all designed to prepare you for employment in a popular industry. Check out our website or prospectus for more details.

2. What different course levels are available?
The Certificates and Diplomas available to study are from Levels 2 to 3.

3. What grades and qualifications do I need to enrol?
The Level 2 courses require four GCSEs at grade 2 or above including English and Maths, and a successful interview with us. For Level 3 in Massage Therapy you will need to have already qualified with Level 2.

4. How long do the courses take to complete?
Our Level 2 Hair & Beauty courses will take 2 years, whilst Level 3 Massage Therapy is 1 year.

5. What kind of work will l be doing?
Over the 2 year course, Hairdressing students will be learning about client communications, Health and Safety, as well as technical skills of cutting, styling and colouring. Beauty Therapy students will be learning how to perform a range of different beauty treatments, such as waxing, facial skincare, manicures, pedicures, make-up, eyelash and eyebrow treatments, gel nail polish and a knowledge of spa treatments. We will also teach reception duties and how to provide first class customer service.

6. What about work experience?
You’ll undertake work experience of a minimum of 30 hours for every year of study. There will also be the opportunity for extended work placement in Hair or Beauty to enhance a student’s CV.

7. What kind of careers will be open to me once qualified?
You can progress from Trainee to Manager and potentially go onto to be a future Business Owner. You could find yourself working as a professional Hairdresser, Image Consultant, Salon Manager or Colour Consultant to name a few.  As a qualified Beauty Therapist you could be offering treatments in a private practice, a beauty clinic, health hydros, cosmetic houses or aboard a cruise liner.
