1. What type of Automotive courses do you offer?
If you have a passion for motoring, then we offer an IMI Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Principles to ignite your interest for working in the automotive industry.

2. What different course levels are available to study?
The Diploma courses we offer are Level 2 and Level 3.

3. What grades and qualifications do I need to enroll?
This Diploma requires four GCSEs at grade 2 and above or equivalent. The Fast track course requires four GCSEs at grade 3 and above or equivalent, along with prior experience. A Level 3 Diploma requires the completion of a Level 2 Diploma and GCSEs at grade 4 or above in English & Maths.

4. How long does the course take to complete?
This course is full time study and takes two years to complete. There is the option of a Fast Track Level 2 which will take one year. The Level 3 is a one year course.

5. What will I be doing while at college?
Your studies will have you engaged in a combination of demonstrations, practical work, theory lessons, computer sessions, tutorials and project work. The practical work is carried out in our own training industry standard workshops.

6. What about work experience?
This is an integral part of your course.  Our close contacts within local business means there’s plenty of opportunities for students to undertake work experience.

7. What kind of careers will be open to me once qualified?
A qualification in Automotive could eventually lead you into job roles including Master Technician, Diagnostics Technician or MOT Examiner to name a few.
